VIII PREHISTORIC MARKET FOR SCHOOLS (Learning prehistory at school) at the prehistoric park of the Caves of “El Toll”. Next year the market will take place from the 4th to the 8th of May 2009, from 9:00 in the morning to 3:00 in the afternoon.
Lunch is not included but can be eaten in the same park. Coaches can drive to the entrance of the prehistoric park of the Caves of “El Toll”.

The week before the PREHISTORIC MARKET IN MOIÀ, the PREHISTORIC MARKET FOR SCHOOLS (Learning prehistory at school) takes place with activities and workshops for kids.
You will be able to visit the prehistoric caves of “El Toll” and be able to learn about the daily life of prehistoric man: cutting flint, fire, hunting with arch and propellant, making necklaces of bones, shepherd's bags made of leather, musical instruments, rupestrian painting, tattoos, body painting, pottery, basket workshops and grain mill, an amazing way to work on the prehistory at schools.
Price includes: Visiting the Caves, 12 educative workshops and professional educators.

Come to enjoy a prehistoric day at “El Toll”
Discover and live in the habitat of a prehistoric cave, staging the daily life (dances, tools, clothing, paintings, tattoos...) and manufacturing instruments at our workshops. You can choose among: shepherd's bags, necklaces made of bones, bracelets of hemp, buzzers, Neolithic objects, etc., that each pupil will be allowed to take home (an interesting way to deal with prehistory at school).
Price includes: Guided visit to the Caves, workshops to make prehistoric instruments, staging and discovering the daily life, a little workbook, other material and professional educators.

Learning to recognize the sedimentary rocks, following the scientific work method of geologists, study a river and its relationship with the Karstic system of “El Toll”, discover how it works.

Discover the figure of Rafael Casanova and the War of Succession. In the workshop the language of heraldry will be studied, and students will make their own shields.
